Experience

Alex has extensive experience in civil litigation and procedure having trained predominantly in commercial litigation and contentious construction. She now advises some of the world's leading insurers on property damage related matters with a focus on large and complex loss subrogated recoveries, construction, policy coverage, and defendant liability work. Alex has a particular interest in commercial, construction, and complex fire claims.

Acting for Claimant insurers in a £1.7m damages recovery against multi Defendants arising from an electrical fire within a Grade II listed property in London.

Providing advice to underwriters on policy avoidance and a £1m first party claim arising from a fire at a commercial development site in the South West of England. 

Acting for Defendant insurers in connection with a £1.2m multi-party dispute following a complex electrical fire within at a school.

Acting for Claimant insurers on a £2.7m contribution claim following a multi-million pound fire in central London and subsequent adjudication.
