Experience

Emma provides litigation and dispute advice to clients in the retail, food and leisure, energy & industrial and financial services sectors.

Emma acts for clients in a wider range of commercial and regulatory matters. Her specialist areas include insolvency, corporate restructuring, commercial dispute resolution, debt recovery, regulatory law and Scottish Law & Scottish Jurisdiction. She takes a proactive and commercial approach to disputes and, where appropriate, actively seeks to resolve matters before they reach litigation. Emma is experienced in representing clients in the Court of Session (Scotland's highest civil court) and the Sheriff Courts, and also experienced in alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and expert determination.

Emma is principally based in Edinburgh but regularly works in our Glasgow office to provide litigation support to her colleagues and across the firm nationally.
