Lachlan is an experienced litigator and advocate with a particular focus on commercial disputes and insolvency. As an Accredited Specialist in Dispute Resolution, he seeks to identify the potential for quick, commercial and efficient resolution of matters.

Lachlan’s commercial litigation, dispute resolution and insolvency practice spans multiple states and jurisdictions. He deals with a wide range of matters including significant and complex commercial and insolvency litigation, insurance litigation, construction disputes, as well as professional indemnity and negligence matters.

He regularly appears in all levels of New South Wales, Victorian and Federal Courts and has also appeared in matters in the Supreme Courts of Western Australia and Queensland. Lachlan regularly appears at meditations and other forms of alternative dispute resolution to achieve cost effective and efficient results for this clients.

Outside of work, Lachlan is a competitive sailor and regularly competes in local weekend races, as well as large yachting and offshore races. He is also a rugby union tragic which has recently led to more frequent than usual raids on his wine collection.

Lachlan is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales. He was also one of the first practitioners in New South Wales to qualify as an Accredited Specialists in Dispute Resolution and currently sits on the Law Society of New South Wales Dispute Resolution Specialist Accreditation Advisory Committee. In addition, Lachlan is also a full member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association.
